We are proud to be an AS9100D certified production facility specialized in manufacturing prototype/small volume and highly engineered custom products for the Aerospace & Defense industry. But what makes ThermOmegaTech® different is that we’re more than just a valve manufacturer; we’re experts in phase-change thermostatic actuator technology, with the ability to modify our precisely blended Thermoloid® paraffin wax to satisfy your individual project needs.
As an extension of your engineering department, we aim to work with you every step of the way to help design and develop a thermally activated valve that seamlessly integrates into your systems. Our History – Founded on Innovation
Founded in 1983, ThermOmegaTech® is an industry-leading Industrial, Defense, and Aerospace manufacturing company specializing in designing and producing self-actuating thermostatic temperature control technology. We provide innovative and reliable solutions for various A&D thermal control applications, including thermal bypass, fluid temperature control, electronics cooling, airflow control, mixing & diverting, freeze protection and scald protection.
Originally the brainchild of our founder Fred “Shotgun” Pirkle, an engineer from Texas with a love of BBQ and thermal control, ThermOmegaTech® began as a supplier of thermostatic freeze protection devices for the railroad industry. More than 35 years later, our product lines have since expanded to service a variety of different industries, including Commercial Plumbing, Industrial Facilities, and of course, Aerospace & Defense. Our thermostatic valves and actuators are shipped worldwide and can be found in virtually every corner of the globe.
Our Facility – Roots & Room to Grow
ThermOmegaTech® is a privately-owned company located about an hour outside of Philadelphia in Warminster, PA. Our headquarters features 40,000+ square feet of office, manufacturing, and testing space. Vertically integrated, we design, machine, test, assemble, and inspect more than 95% of our products on-site, allowing us to communicate quickly and efficiently through every step of the product development cycle.
Our state-of-the-art production facility is equipped with a dozen CNC turning and milling centers, 3 environmental chambers, 18 aqueous & hi-temp oil test baths, and a CMM machine to meet our customers’ time, cost, quality, and technical performance requirements.
We want our facility to be a great place for our people and the environment, which is why it’s 75% powered by rooftop solar panels to help in reducing greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Our entire team is dedicated to Lean Manufacturing Initiatives and striving to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, evidenced by having been ISO 9001 certified for over 2 decades and receiving AS9100D Certification in 2019.
