Certifications and Compliance
The art of thermal actuator design and quality product manufacturing is at the heart of every ThermOmegaTech® initiative. We hold every product that leaves our facility to the highest standards and ensures that they are compliant with all industry regulations.
ThermOmegaTech® Quality Statement
Our company invests in the latest technology and processes to ensure our standard and custom products meet our design, quality, safety, and environmental standards. Our quality assurance system is data-driven and audited continually. Through our Lean Initiatives, quality and continuous improvement are integral to our way of life as we always strive for 100% customer satisfaction.
AS9100D Certification
AS9100D is a widely used standardized quality management system for the Aerospace & Defense industries. ThermOmegaTech® received AS9100D Certification in 2019, building on our prior ISO:9001 Certification, which we’ve held since January of 2000, exemplary of the company’s ongoing continuous improvement initiatives. We maintain our AS9100D Certification status with yearly surveillance audits and internal audits and comprehensive training of relevant personnel involved in the production of products for Aerospace, Space, and Defense.
DDTC Registered
DDTC, short for “Directorate of Defense Trade Controls,” is a department within the U.S. Department of State responsible for enforcing ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). Compliance with DDTC requires both training in and constant vigilance of current and evolving export practices and complete transparency with all international business exports. Our Aerospace & Defense personnel have received comprehensive training and maintain processes to ensure all ITAR requirements are followed to the letter when exporting to foreign countries.
California Prop 65 Compliant
Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to consumers about any possible exposure to potentially harmful chemicals in any of their products sold in the state of California. The mandate includes a wide range of naturally occurring and synthetic chemicals and helps consumers make informed decisions about their products. ThermOmegaTech® maintains a clear and comprehensive list of all our products that fall under Proposition 65 and have clear “Prop 65” warnings on all relevant product labels and company-distributed literature.

RoHS, short for “Restriction of Hazardous Substances,” restricts the use of certain hazardous materials in electrical and electronic products (EEE products). Restricted substances include lead, mercury, cadmium, and other potentially toxic chemicals that are environmental hazards and can result in dangerous exposure during manufacturing and recycling procedures. All our EEE products are RoHS compliant to keep both the environment and the public safe.
